Dr. Lobkova received her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where she was inducted into the Pi Mu Delta National Podiatric Service Honor Society, received the APMA Educational Foundation Scholarship for her academic excellence and is a Fellow of the prestigious New York Academy of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Nelya Lobkova received training at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, Israel with a focus on foot and ankle orthopedic surgery. Her residency training was completed as Podiatry Chief Resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where she received specialized training in all facets of Podiatric Medicine and Foot Surgery with a focus on diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Nelya Lobkova is committed to providing her patients with the most exceptional and compassionate treatment of all foot and ankle ailments from basic ingrown toenail procedures to complex reconstructive surgery. As an avid athlete and New York Road Runners member, she has become an expert in diagnosing and treating sports injuries, such as those commonly incurred by runners, bikers, skiers, and dancers. She specializes in the latest running and biking techniques and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP). Dr. Lobkova takes pride in providing medical attention to those in need and graciously volunteered her services at the TCS and ING NYC Marathon, NYC Ironman Championship, and the Mount Sinai Community Health Fair.
